MATERIALS FOR THIS COURSE

– 7 sheets of thick white A3 paper
– 3 sheets of thick black A3 paper (alternatively, white sheets can be painted black beforehand)
– 1 sheet of white A4 paper
– Colored A4 paper
– Black permanent marker with a broad, flat tip (chisel tip), approx. 5 mm wide
– Watercolors
– Soft round brushes in various sizes, including a very fine one
– Oil pastels
– Washi tape set (decorative paper tape). Solid colors or patterns are both fine; sets usually feature colors and styles that coordinate well. Specific patterns don’t matter—let the child choose what they like.
– Scissors and a glue stick
– Jar of water
– HB lead pencil
– Eraser
– A hair dryer (useful for quickly drying artwork during painting sessions)

 

Optional but highly recommended:
– Decorative A4 paper (small patterns or glittery finish).
Ideally, the paper should be of medium thickness—neither too thin nor too thick—and smooth, without a heavily textured surface.
This is optional—plain colored paper works too—but decorative A4 paper adds extra interest.
– Stickers (hearts, snowflakes, stars).
They are fun to apply, and any leftovers can be used for future independent art projects.
– Large glitter (1–3 mm). Not the fine kind that sticks to everything, but slightly larger pieces, like decorative sprinkles. Ideally in small, narrow jars or wide, shallow containers to prevent accidental large spills. – large 3D craft googly eyes (2–3 cm), 2 pieces
