ABOUT THIS COURSE

In this course, we’ll start with the very basics, a foundation that will help you understand the very essence of drawing anything. It turns out there’s nothing difficult about drawing a complex object: just break it down into simple components, basic geometric shapes, and you’ll be fine.
In this course, students will understand that anything is possible, and nothing is impossible.

We will create 9 vibrant works based on simple geometric shapes:

1. Monster with a Ball – based on circles and ovals
2. Fox – based on triangles
3. City – based on squares and rectangles
4. Snail on a Floral Background – based on spirals
5. Fantasy Birds – based on a variety of closed shapes
6. Bright Peacock – based on teardrop shapes
7. Abstract Composition – based on a variety of simple shapes
8. Castle – based on a combination of simple geometric shapes
9. Self-Portrait – based on a combination of simple geometric shapes

We use this drawing principle in all our courses, but here it will be covered in detail. At the same time, students will review the names and drawing of simple shapes.

The course is conducted interactively, via the Zoom video communication program. It includes 9 lessons held weekly from February 4 to April 2, 2026.

Language:

Please, note these lessons will be conducted in Russian.

Price:

$162 for a course of 9 lessons ($18 per lesson), or $23 per lesson if you join occasionally.

We learn that drawing is fun and not at all scary, because artists have one little secret: anything can be drawn using simple geometric shapes!
These shapes are so simple that any child can draw them!
By combining these simple shapes in a drawing, we can draw much more complex things!
We will learn to see like artists: we will learn to see the simple in the complex!
