Zoom Course “Creative Mood” (from 8 y.o.) (Oct – Dec 2026)

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This course covers a variety of topics, all united by a common thread: engaging and popular themes for young artists, alongside a wide range of techniques, materials, and artistic styles. It’s a chance to unwind and create striking artworks as the school year draws to a close. There is no risk of boredom, as each project is designed to be completely unique.

We will create 8 artworks:
“Dragon”
“Winter Landscape in a Jar”
“The Eye: Mirror of the Soul”
“Fundamentals of Composition” (flowers in a vase)
“Colorful Cat”
“Girl and Elephant”
“Cozy Town” (2 sessions)
“Santa Claus with a Dream Gift”

The course will be conducted interactively via Zoom video conferencing. It includes nine lessons, held weekly from October 7 to December 2, 2026

Please, note these lessons will be conducted in Russian.

Price:

$252 for a course of 9 lessons ($28 per lesson), or $33 per lesson if you join occasionally.

Attention!
Since school breaks begin at different times across different states, I am using average start and end dates for the course. If any lessons fall during your school break and you are unable to attend for that reason, I will provide the option to complete the lessons via recordings.

FOR WHOM THIS COURSE

This course is perfect for children, teenagers, and even adults joining in with their kids—anyone interested in drawing popular subjects using engaging techniques.

Since it is designed as a family-friendly course, other family members can participate for free (without receiving feedback). Essentially, it is open to artists of any age in your family.

This course is for anyone who wants to create for the sheer joy of it!

MATERIALS FOR THIS COURSE

– 3 sheets of thick white A3 paper
– 5 sheets of thick white A4 paper
– 1 sheet of thick black A3 paper
– Black permanent marker with a broad, flat tip (chisel tip), approx. 5 mm wide – an essential item for this course. It creates a striking line. Alternatively, you can use black India ink and a fine round brush.
– Fine-tip black permanent liner/fineliner
– White paint marker
– Watercolors
– Soft round brushes in various sizes, including a very fine one
– Set of bright highlighters (at least 7)
– Set of colored A4 paper
– Scissors, glue stick
– Graphite pencils of varying hardness (grades)
– Soft watercolor pencils
– Jar of water
– HB lead pencil
– Eraser
– A hair dryer will be useful for painting lessons (to dry artwork quickly)
