ABOUT THIS COURSE

In this course we will create 9 bright works depicting animals and their houses, 5 of which are moving interactive “picture toys”:

1. Tropical weaver and its hanging nest
2. Bear in its den
3. Fox and its hole with a fox cub
4. Owl in a hollow with opening doors
5. Snail and its “two-story house”
6. Turtles and their sand “houses”

All, of course, in a style maximally adapted to this age.

Each work, as usual, is a masterpiece!

The course is conducted interactively, via the Zoom video communication program. It includes 9 lessons held weekly from July 22 to Sept 18, 2025.

Language:

Please, note these lessons will be conducted in Russian.

Price:

$153 for a course of 9 lessons ($17 per lesson), or $21 per lesson if you join occasionally.

Attention!
Due to the holidays in different states start at different times, I take average dates of the beginning and end of the course. If any of the lessons of the course fall on your school holidays, and you will not be able to attend for this reason, then I will provide an opportunity to do the lesson using a recording of the session. There is also the opportunity to make up a missed lesson in another group during the same week (on Tuesday and Thursday during the same week, the lesson topics are repeated).

Lesson times:

  • Every Tuesday, 3:45pm Queensland time (UTC/GMT+10), or
  • Every Thursday, 3:45pm Queensland time (UTC/GMT+10).

The Tuesday group is only formed starting this school term – it will start if enough participants are enrolled to the group.

We will draw bright animals and their houses!
We will learn interesting facts about the life of animals and birds!
We will create not just paintings, but interactive painting-toys - it is very unusual and fun!

FOR WHOM THIS COURSE

This course is ideal for children aged 5 to 8. You can start at an earlier age, but then with the help of an adult. Since the format is family-friendly, this means that other family members can participate for free, although without feedback. It turns out that the course is for all aspiring artists in your family.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

In this course we will have a lot of fun, because the main characters of our paintings will be wild animals, birds and their babies!

We will depict animals in their diverse and so different from each other homes. In order for interesting facts about animals to be remembered and captivate the children even more, most of the paintings will be interactive, with movable elements: doors, pockets, accordion, etc.

Students will learn to create paintings in a variety of techniques, including very unexpected ones.

During the course, the children will create 9 original works in A3 format.
