ABOUT THIS COURSE

This is the magic word “Cartoons”! Our children wait with bated breath and love them, just like we ourselves did at their age. Only in our childhood there was no endless choice at any time of the day or night, and we looked for each of the cartoons as an expensive gift, and noted it in a special way in the TV program for the week, so as not to miss it under any circumstances. The choice was perhaps not the widest, but it was of high quality.

And we grew up, of course, for the most part on Soviet cartoons, good and kind, simple and understandable for children’s perception, where the line between good and evil is clearly drawn, there is morality, and each of them teaches something, and most importantly, each cartoon is made with soul.

Over time, we can say with confidence that Soviet animation has become a culturally significant phenomenon, part of the history of cinematic art, which means that this phenomenon is worthy of study. This is part of art history. These cartoons are definitely worth introducing our children to.

From the point of view of fine art, many classic Soviet cartoons are distinguished by their original style, and frames from them have high artistic value. A child’s artistic taste in everyday life is formed by reading classic books and watching high-quality films, and those cartoons, based on which we will create our films, will definitely contribute to the cultivation of excellent taste in children, starting from a very early age.

In this course, children will get acquainted with widely and little-known masterpieces of Soviet animation, learn about the features of cartoons from the times of the USSR, learn to analyze them from an artistic point of view, and themselves will draw bright frames based on cartoons.

Each work, as usual, is a finished masterpiece!
