Zoom Course for Teenagers and Adults “Basics of Pencil Drawing”

ABOUT THIS COURSE

* This course is an advanced module of the annual course “FINE ART BASICS” – 2025.

Have you long wanted to try your hand at fine art, but the amount of knowledge required and the time it takes to master it intimidates you?
Or perhaps you’re the parent of a teenager who wants to pursue a career that requires a basic understanding of drawing?

What if in just 10 2-hour lessons, once a week, you could gain all the fundamental knowledge you need to get started successfully in pencil drawing?

This will be a concentrate of the knowledge that your teacher of this course, me, Ksenia Khamkova, once acquired while studying at an art school and university for 14 years of formal education, as well as during many years of additional independent study, already being a teacher of visual arts in Australia, starting in 2014.

Now, having successfully delivered numerous thematic courses and lessons for children and adults, both offline and online, I’ve compiled the most important information into one short but effective course, and I’m ready to share this knowledge with you.

FOR WHOM THIS COURSE

This course is for you if:
– you or your growing children (14 years and older) want to connect their future with the visual arts
– you simply want to find yourself in a fascinating hobby and unleash your creative potential
– you’ve been involved in visual arts for a long time on a casual level but feel you lack the basic knowledge
– or perhaps you simply have a couple of free hours once a week and want to devote some time to yourself, spending it in good company, engaging in a pleasant and useful activity while speaking Russian
– or perhaps you simply have art supplies lying around the house that you’ve been buying for a while, but you’ve never gotten around to finally putting them to use
– you have absolutely no experience in visual arts but want to give it a try

FORMAT AND TIME OF CLASSES

This course will give you a foundation of knowledge and skills, mastering which will allow you to begin drawing almost anything with a simple pencil.
This foundation will give you at least 20 hours of practice, but with homework, it’s much more. It’s a truly concentrated knowledge!

The course is conducted interactively via Zoom video conferencing and includes 10 lessons (each 2 hours long).

Each lesson will be recorded, so if someone is unable to attend a lesson at the scheduled time, they will have the option to take the recording.
There is also an economy rate for those who plan to take the lessons independently, exclusively through the recording.

Zoom Lesson Times for the course “Basics of Pencil Drawing”:
Every Friday, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm Brisbane, Australia (UTC/GMT+10) / 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.

The course will run from January 30 to April 3.

1. Full tariff “Basics of Pencil Drawing” – all inclusive

Participate in all interactive Zoom sessions on Friday evenings, with maximum feedback from me personally and support for course participants in a special private chat. Exclusive additional materials and optional homework assignments are available. Chat with like-minded people in Russian, and the opportunity to make new, enjoyable and useful connections. Space is strictly limited.

Cost per course: $350 – 10 lessons, 2 hours each.

2. Tariff “Basics of Pencil Drawing” – standard

This plan allows you to take recorded lessons at your convenience,
without participating in interactive Zoom sessions.
Support and feedback via chat with photos of your completed work, plus exclusive bonus materials.
High-quality recordings are provided (not the compressed quality of Zoom).

This rate is suitable for those who want to take the course with the maximum possible support, but are unable to attend a lesson with us on Friday evenings.

Cost per course: $300 – 10 lessons, 2 hours each.

3. Tariff “Basics of Pencil Drawing” – economy

A plan for the most organized students.
Self-paced, recorded course, no feedback required.
Unlimited number of students.

This plan is suitable for those who can organize themselves perfectly. Recordings of lessons will remain available until February 2027.
High-quality recordings are provided (not the compressed quality of Zoom).

Cost per course: $250 – 10 lessons, 2 hours each.
