Free trial lesson from the course “Soviet cartoons” (in both versions from 5 years and from 8 years).

Zoom lessons of the course will be held weekly on Thursdays, starting February 1, 2024, or on Saturdays, starting February 3, 2024.

From the point of view of fine art, many classic Soviet cartoons are distinguished by their original style, and stills from cartoons have high artistic value. Artistic taste in everyday life is formed by reading classic books and watching high-quality films, and those cartoons based on which we will create our films will definitely contribute to the cultivation of excellent taste in children.

In this course, children will get acquainted with widely and little-known masterpieces of Soviet animation, learn about the features of cartoons from the times of the USSR, learn to analyze them from an artistic point of view, and themselves will draw bright characters from cartoons.

The “Antoshka” trial lesson is suitable for children and even adults of any age, starting from 5 years old.

We will draw a portrait of one of the famous characters of Soviet cartoons – the mischievous red-haired boy Antoshka, who participated in four animated films: “Antoshka”, “Two Cheerful Geese”, “Red-haired, red-haired, freckled”, “Dreamers from the village of Ugory”.

– thick white sheet A3, ideally watercolor paper (for best results)
– a lead pencil and eraser
– watercolor paints
– soft round brushes of large and medium sizes
– soft, bright colored pencils (IKEA, Faber Castell, Crayola work well)
– water in a jar, palette, napkins and hair dryer at hand.
