
ABOUT THIS COURSE
In this course, we will get acquainted with the theory and practice of colour mixing and with the basics of colour science.
This is a video course in Russian language. You can start and finish it at any time convenient to you.

- This course is for those who want to understand the theory and practice of color science in a very short time.
- This course is for those who do not have access to expensive art materials.
- This course is for those who want to learn new things and immediately apply knowledge in practice.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Children will learn about such concepts and terms as:
– colour circle
– cold and warm colors
– primary and secondary colors
– why is green special
– what does white do with other colors
– how to get gray with bright colors
– what is a monochrome colour palette
– what are achromatic colors
– we will learn what contrasting (or, in other words, opposite / complementary colors) are.
We will also try to put all this into practice!

MATERIALS FOR THIS COURSE
You will need the most basic materials for this course
which, most likely, everyone has at hand:
– white A4 watercolor sheets, 7 pieces
– white smooth sheets A4, 3 pieces
– lead HB pencil
– eraser
– watercolor paints
– soft round brushes: thick and medium size
– a set of colored oil pastels / wax crayons
– a set of colored pencils
– a set of colored markers
– medium size black permanent marker
