Who we are
Fairy Bird Art Studio is a provider of on-site and on-line lessons in visual arts, currently based in Brisbane, Australia. Fairy Bird Art Studio, as a legal entity, was created to embrace and develop activities started in 2014 by the artist and designer Ksenia Khamkova. Since 2014, more than 200 students leveraged on Ksenia's author approach and enjoyed their study in visual arts through more than 800 lessons conducted in Sydney and Brisbane.
AWARDS
While enjoying the creative process, some students achieved prestige awards at Australian and International contests breaking limits and gladdening themselves, relatives, and teachers.

On-line Courses and Workshops
Creation of video lessons in the format of online courses / workshops that systematically develop necessary skills.
Zoom Courses during School Terms
Development and conduction of visual arts courses for children of different ages. They are held on the Zoom platform during the school terms.
Workshops involving Painting/Drawing/Craft
Delivering workshops for children and adults during school holidays and on occasions.
In-House studio classes during school terms
In-house courses in the studio (QLD, Cleveland). Face-to-face classes with the teacher, held during the school terms.

OUR APPROACH

Systematic learning
All lessons are delivered in the systematic manner, from simple to complex, with a lot of fun but, at the same time, with achieving results.
Proficiency
A variety of material types and visual art techniques are used.
Feasible scope
The majority of artworks is finished within one lesson.
Confidence
The purpose of the lesson is not only to teach the drawing or painting techniques but also to make each child believe in his or her own abilities, not being scared to create, and enjoying the creative process.
