Free trial lesson from the “WHITE TALE” course.

Zoom lessons of the course will be held weekly on Thursdays, starting October 12, 2023.

This course is about the properties of white color, decorative and applied techniques of visual art and, of course, about fairy tales. We will draw fairy-tale plots, fairy-tale characters, already known and fictitious (we will come up with their images right during the lesson).

As part of a trial lesson, we will draw a fairy-tale snow princess using a minimal palette, where white will become vibrant and voluminous, the main color in this portrait, as well as create various textures with a small set of artistic tools, and get acquainted with the basics of creating a human portrait.

It is possible to join simply via a link, without installing the program, but in this case you will have reduced functionality and possible connection problems.

Materials for this lesson:

– white sheet A3
– a lead pencil and eraser
– watercolors (bright blue and pink)
– soft round brushes of large and medium sizes
– soft, bright colored pencils (IKEA, Faber Castell, Crayola are good), you won’t need more than 10-12 colors
– water in a jar, palette, napkins and hair dryer at hand.
