ABOUT THIS COURSE
In this course we will study what is special about gouache paints and why they are one of the best materials for children’s creativity.
*In this course, if gouache paints are not available, you can use acrylic paints. The principle of their operation is quite similar, and it is possible to replace gouache with acrylic, but still, gouache is ideal. Watercolor paints are not suitable for this course.
Students will learn to create clear lines and gradients – transitions from color to color, and we will also actively use the dabbing technique.
Children will practice simple exercises, create more complex decorative paintings, and even try to write some very realistic scenes.
The course will be quite bright, which means that in each lesson we will raise questions about the basics of color science.
During the course, the children will create 8 original and very diverse works in A3 format.
The course is conducted interactively, through the video call program Zoom. It consists of 9 lessons, conducted weekly from 18 July till 12 September 2024.
Please, note these lessons will be conducted in Russian.
Time of Lessons:
- Every Thursday, 5:00pm – 6:30pm Queensland time (UTC/GMT+10)
(the same time in Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra)
Price:
$225 for a course of 9 lessons ($25 per lesson), or $30 per lesson if you join occasionally.
