
ABOUT THIS COURSE
In this course, we will learn all main graphical tricks.
Children will learn how to tame color, line, stain, so that they contribute to the creation of the most effective work.
Students will get acquainted in practice with what is static-dynamics, balance, rhythm, positive and negative spaces, silhouette, texture, stylisation.
We will go through such an important topic as the basics of composition.
Young artists will learn about the features of drawing with lead and colored pencils, felt-tip pens, oil pastel crayons, learn how to choose the most suitable material, depending on the goals and objectives of future work.
The course is conducted interactively, through the video call program Zoom. It consists of 9 lessons, conducted weekly from 27 April till 22 June 2023 (each Thursday). Cost: $207 for the course ($23 per lesson). Cost for the occasional attendance – $30.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
In this course, we will learn all the basic graphic tricks, learn many techniques and learn about the basics of composition.
With the help of this knowledge, the child will be able to make his work more vivid and expressive.
Upon completion of the course, the child will be able to consciously regulate the attention of the viewer looking at the work, create a certain mood through the competent use of color, spots and lines, learn to choose the most appropriate artistic technique for expression on a sheet of paper, even be able to create an image of a character for a book, comic book, cartoon in a certain style or develop a logo.
MATERIALS FOR THIS COURSE
– White sheets of A4 smooth paper (dense printer paper is fine), 30 pieces
Attention! If the child tends to do everything very quickly, you can increase the size to A3!
– Lead pencils of different hardness-softness
The minimum set of simple pencils: HB pencil, 2B and one very soft: 6B or higher (the higher the number before the “B” – the better).
– Set of bright colored pencils
– Black marker of regular thickness and thick one
– Watercolor paints
– Soft medium brush + water in a jar
– Set of colored markers (felt-tip pens)
– Oil pastel crayons
– Eraser
– Sharpener
– Paper napkins, wet wipes
